This natural state of health can never be achieved by dealing with the symptoms of FMS with medications. When you look at the horror that people with FMS have endured, you have to feel great compassion. Imagine going to doctor after doctor, and negative test after negative test, and taking medications, and suffering the whole time, and then being sent to the psychiatrist because if the tests are negative it must be a mental condition. And this happens all the time! Fibromyalgia patients suffer physical pain, but perhaps the greatest pain is not being heard. For them, it is almost a relief to have the diagnosis of FMS, so their suffering is recognized and validated. I have had patients as young as 12 years old and up to 73 years old come to me diagnosed with FMS, with the average age being between 25 and 45. Every aspect of their lives has been affected with this disease, limiting even the most basic of daily activities and family interactions. I have seen relationships torn apart and the black cloud of FMS descend on whole families even though just one person has FMS. FMS affects spouses, siblings, children, and friends of the person suffering with FMS. Now, the tough part of this is that Fibromyalgia is a disease that, according to medical authorities, is incurable. The Mayo Clinic definition of Fibromyalgia is: Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way your brain processes pain signals. Symptoms sometimes begin after a physical trauma, surgery, infection or significant psychological stress. In other cases, symptoms gradually accumulate over time with no single triggering event. Women are much more likely to develop fibromyalgia than are men. Many people who have fibromyalgia also have tension headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety and depression. While there is no cure for fibromyalgia, a variety of medications can help control symptoms. (The highlights are mine.) I was jay-walking across the street, and all of a sudden I was struck by a car. I had both my legs broken, my sternum fractured, my skull fractured, my liver bruised, and my heart bruised. My front teeth were knocked out. I was lucky to be alive, and when I was taken to the hospital, I got the finest medical care the world can provide. Our emergency medical care in this country is the best in the world. They will absolutely take someone that's near dead and save their life. For healthcare the American medical system has a horrible record; but for emergency care, it's incredible. I was so grateful to the doctors that saved my life. When they suggested knee operations, I agreed; after all, they were the experts. They did the first operation on my knees, and they felt okay; but then they did another operation and they felt worse; and then they did another operation and they felt even worse; and I started to think, “Wait a second. When they're operating, are they putting stuff in or taking stuff out?” They're taking stuff out. So with these operations, arthroscopic surgery after arthroscopic surgery, I was still hurting, and I was limping. They said, “Of course you're limping. You damaged your cartilage; you damaged your joints. Don't worry about it. We're going to keep you comfortable.” They talked about pain medications, and I thought, “Gosh, being drugged.” I was so scared that I wouldn't be able to play with my kids. I always wanted to be the dad that I didn't have; my dad died when I was a young kid. I wanted to be there for my kids, and I didn't think I was going to be there. There is nothing more frightening! So the medical world really wasn't offering me hope. It really wasn't. I was seeing a Chiropractor at the time, and it was interesting, because he was doing adjustments on me while I was in a wheelchair. I don't know if you know this, but if you've ever had two broken legs at one time, you're not mobile. So I'm in the wheelchair, and I'm going in there, and after every operation I'm back in the wheelchair; and wheelchairs are not fun or comfortable. The Chiropractor is adjusting me, and he's saying, “Your body is designed to heal; it's designed to be healthy. Your body can regenerate.”

Heal the body naturally and as God intended

Dr. Bergman always pushes Dr. Palmer's philosophy of letting God do His work and thus let the body heal itself from all the assaults modern life throws at it. Your body is smarter at a cellular level than any man, woman, or corporation (lets see them build one from scratch!). Magic pills just mask the symptoms and eventually screw up something else in the metabolic processes, usually the kidneys and liver, making you feel even worse in the long run. They are usually very expensive, and never seem to cure or reverse the disease and bring you back to 'normal'. Dr. Bergman says Normal is possible, but it takes some healthy changes in lifestyle.
Clean up the diet, thus clean up the blood, exercise or walk a bit every day, and let your own endorphins, interferon, proteins, vitamins, epigenetics, and so on do their job and heal your body from all those chemicals, neurotoxins, and endocrine disrupters you have been exposed to from foods, pollutions, paints, beauty products, cleaners, assembly and testing-related jobs, etc. over the years. These cause the chronic illnesses that the medical establishment and Big Pharma has no cure for, since cells aren't getting the nutrition they need to function at 100%. Fibromyalgia is difficult since it is systematic and there is no simple blood test, scan, or anything to confirm the pain that sufferers know is there (and not just in their head), and there is no man-made magic pill to quickly reverse it, and probably never will be due to the nature of the disease.
Dr. Bergman's philosophy is that if you weren't born with it, it can be reversed by the same amazing mechanism that brought you from a tiny pin-sized egg to an adult, which man cannot replicate. You must trust your own body to do what it must to preserve itself, and you need to restore the nerve supply. Sometimes the body does weird things, like grow a tumor or excess fat cells, but that is probably just the body encapsulating and putting into 'deep storage' a toxin that it can't shed. Help the body shed the various toxins, then goodbye tumors, aches, and excess fat! Cells in organs, bones, cartilage, organs, guts, etc. are constantly being replaced, and a year from now, you basically have a brand new body. So, Why don't you feel 'new'??? It is because of toxin build up; a bazillion medical studies support this: toxins are bad for you at every level. The body tends to retain them over the years, especially metals like mercury (from fillings), and lead (from chewing cheap pencils), but also bromines (from some breads), and a slew of others. Getting rid of them is not easy in today's modern world. This is where Dr. Bergman's book and doctors like him are a big help.
If you are reading this, it means either you or someone you love has aches throughout their body and no energy, and you want to change that and reverse it; but everything you have tried so far hasn't worked. The solution that is in this book starts to work noticeably within weeks, and it is relatively inexpensive, though you must do your own cooking, and get your pinched nerves unpinched by a chiropractor and some physical therapy, so your nervous system can communicate throughout your body and do its job. The needed 'healthy' changes also positively affects anyone around the affected individual on a regular basis, which is a good side effect! There are no negative side affects by making the needed changes to a healthier lifestyle, getting off ALL drugs (Rx & OTC), and thus getting an healthier body. Food costs may go up, but medical expenses plummet. Personal energy goes up. Chronic pain goes down.
Dr. Bergman's extensive knowledge of what goes on in the cells at the molecular level, what nutrients they need, and what poisons the cells, and the interaction between them helps with almost ANY chronic disease. Dr. Bergman is an excellent teacher, where even the average layman can understand and see the sense in the biochemistry of the body. His extensive YouTube videos supplement the book; they are helpful when it comes to recalcitrant parents who need help with chronic conditions. If y'all know the 'why's', hows, and what the goal is, then improving your (or your loved one's) life is easy, at least compared to the alternative of staying medicated and miserable until one dies of kidney failure (like my dad).

FIX THE CAUSE

The book is about fixing the cause and not treating the symtoms. Treating the symtoms doesn't heal you. All the pill pusher doc's out there don't really help anything but the pocket books of big pharma and them selves. Follow the money and you will find the truth! There is no money in healing you but there is plenty of money in return visits to the doctors, pharmacy and hospital. Why do you think cancer is on the rise and more people die each year from it. Atack the source of desease and a cure will follow. Thanks Doc for a black and white common sence approach to healing. I am a big fan of your youtube videos.

Life Changing Information

The principles and guidelines contained in this book, if followed faithfully, will not only cure Fibromyalgia, but other diseases as well! Dr Bergman is a brilliant man with a love for his fellow man that is evident in his writing. The truth of what he teaches just jells with you as you read this book. For anyone who wants a total turn around in their health, this is a must read!
