This is well written AND well edited. Alexa is primarily intuitive, the learning curve is yours, not Alexa's. This guide is thorough yet doesn't take ALL the fun of discovery from using the device. Good job!!

This is a good beginner's guide for someone just starting with thee Dot, or someone who is technologically hesitant. I'd have liked to see more tips in regards to IFTTT, but I understand the author wanting too avoid going down that rabbit hole.

I love my echodot

I absolutely love my echodot. It is so nice to ask questions and get answers without having to boot up the computer. I was lucky enough to see an Alexa before they hit the market. My ex-husbands cousin gives money to start up companies. He had one of the first Alexas' produces. We visited him and he demonstrated the machine. When the price of the dot came out and I could afford it, I had to have one. My ex-husband has one and so does our grandson. Wonderful product.
